Introduction to Yoga

If you like the idea of yoga but have no idea where to start, this workshop is for you! We'll cover some of the basic yoga poses, talk through what to expect in a public yoga class, and give you the beginnings of a home practice - even if it's a little bit of deep breathing and some stretches for your tightest muscles. Class sizes are kept small so that I can give you individual attention in addition to group work.

Yoga: from screen to studio

Have you been enjoying yoga videos on YouTube, but not sure you're doing everything right? Are there poses that hurt, or where you're not completely sure what you're supposed to be feeling or achieving? If so, come along to this interactive workshop. We'll practice together, look at form and common issues, and how to make adjustments when needed. Class sizes are kept small so that I can give you individual attention in addition to group work. 

I'm a big fan of at home yoga, so this is to help you get the most out of your home practice, not to convince you to try studio classes - though we can talk about what to expect from a public class if you want to.

Yoga for runners

Yoga supports running really well, and this workshop will show you how. We'll look at poses and stretches for before and after running, plus core stability and balance work. You'll leave with new additions to your warm up and cool down routines, and hopefully an interest in yoga practice. This workshop supports a larger class size, but we'll still make time for questions and individual attention, promise!
